Getting the value out of content
The creation and promotion of Internet communities around Cultural and Memory Institutions shows an increase in its public presence among real and virtual visitors. Some institutions, like the “Casa Encendida de Obra Social de Caja Madrid” have gone a step further and have recreated their facilities in "virtual worlds”.
Frequently there is a difference between the real wealth of content an institution has and the amount that can be shown to the public. The stored information is often richer than that on display and has inter-relations known only to experts. The presentation of content with its explicit relations allows the general public to enrich their experience during the virtual or physical visit.
